The Kindersley Red Lions will be back in action this weekend with two games on the slate.
They will take on Eatonia (3-6-4) at home on Friday and then host Biggar (5-8-1) on Saturday night.
The Red Lions enter 2018 with a Sask West Hockey League record of 9-4-2, good enough for third place in the division. And they have second in their sights – Macklin has 23 points in 16 games.
The Red Lions closed off 2017 with a big win, 2-1 overtime win over the Huskies on Dec. 30, and have won all three meetings this season. The Red Lions and Nationals have only met once, on Dec. 22, when Biggar came up with a 9-8 victory. For more on this story, please see the Jan. 10 print edition of The Clarion.
