The KCS senior boys curling team did well at the provincial curling championships held in Spiritwood on the weekend.

The team competed in a very tough pool.

In their first game, they started things off with a 10-4 loss to Regina LeBoldus who ended up winning the championship over Spiritwood.

In the second game for KCS, the team did well, earning a 7-5 win.

In their final game of the event, they lost 10-2 to the host Spiritwood club, who ended up finishing second in the province.

“These were very good teams and we were obviously in the toughest pool,” said coach Chris Oscar. “The guys did very well and we are very proud of them. We are excited about how they did.”
