The Fertile Valley Senior Baseball League season kicked of this past week with all of the Kindersley teams seeing action.

Game 1 kicked off last Tuesday (May 22) with the Kindersley Royals defeating the Klippers 3-2.

Thursday, the tides were turned on the Royals as they lost 14-3 to the defending champion Kindersley Raiders.

Game 3 of the opening week, saw the Kindersley Stallions, last season’s runners-up, defeat the Kindersley Klippers 11-3.

Week 2 began Monday with the Elrose Aces hosting and defeating the Eatonia Wheat Kings, 14-4; the Klippers lost to the host Outlook River Hawks 16-14; and the Kindersley Cubs defeated the Royals 8-3 to close out the day.

Last night, the Rosetown Angels were scheduled to take on the Kindersley Stallions; the Raiders were headed to Oyen to take on the Eagles and the Kyle Yellow Jackets were scheduled to be in Beechy to take on the Breakers.

Tonight, the Stallions will be in Oyen; the River Hawks will be in Kindersley to take on the Royals at 6:30 p.m. on Berard Field and the Elrose Aces will be in Kindersley as well to take on the Cubs on Flanagan Field at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, the Beechy Breakers will be in Rosetown to take on the Angels.

Friday, the Eatonia Wheat Kings will be in town to take on the Klippers.

Saturday, the Oyen Eagles will be on the road to take on the Yellow Jackets and Elrose Aces. and the Yellow Jackets will be in Elrose for an evening tilt.

Sunday, Oyen will be in Outlook for a matinee game.

Monday, Oyen will be in town to take on the Royals on Berard Field and Eatonia will take on the Cubs on Flanagan Field.

Tuesday, the Raiders will take on the Rosetown Angels in Rosetown and the Klippers will be in Beechy.
