Kindersley Composite School Kobras broke out of a two-game slump Friday night under the lights against the visiting Meadow Lake Spartans.

The cool damp evening proved to be just what the football team needed.

The Kobras’ offence exploded with a 73-point performance in the 73-6 victory.

The game opened with the Spartans returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown. The Kobras then received the ensuing  kickoff and returned it for a touchdown and never looked back.

The Kobras scored on every possession for the rest of the game.

The visiting Spartans had a miserable night as they just couldn’t get any offence going. The Kobras defence stymied the Spartans’ offence with a solid performance, giving up only six points on the opening play.
