Raine Hamilton Trio wows audience

Folk artist Raine Hamilton of the Raine Hamilton Trio performs a cover of Joni Mitchell’s A Case of You at the Norman Ritchie Community Centre on Oct. 4. It was the first concert of the 2018-19 Stars for Saskatchewan series presented by the Kindersley and District Arts Council. Hamilton and her two accompanists on upright bass and cello played two sets of original songs in addition to the cover, and a crowd of about 75 people showed its appreciation. Hamilton also had two sign language interpreters on hand that night as part of her desire to make her shows more inclusive and accessible to everyone. The musician also told several fun stories along the way.
