It has been a busy season of baseball in Kindersley and it’s not over yet.
Kindersley’s Joel McGrath and the Badlands Badgers of Oyen will take on Team Saskatchewan on Saturday at Kindersley’s Berard Field in a doubleheader.
Game 1 will take place at noon with game two following at around 3 p.m.
Admission is free and there is a $1,000 guaranteed 50/50. The food booth is open all day.
Mcgrath says he’s looking forward to playing in front of a hometown crowd.

“It should be fun playing in front of family and friends this weekend,” he said.
The Badgers just came back from playing in a tournament in Kamloops where they ended up with one win in four games.
He says the team is off to a slow start but they’re pretty young and he’s confident they will be okay.
This is the second year for McGrath playing with the Badgers and he plays first base and pitches.
