Two events over the next two Sundays will get you in the Christmas spirit.

The annual Kindersley Christmas Carol Festival, sponsored by the Kindersley and District Music Festival Association, will be held this Sunday at 7 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Church.

Organizer Glenda Giles said there will be about 22 musical numbers performed by a wide array of talent. They include choirs, percussion numbers, singing, violins and, of course, the handbell choir.

There will be a silver collection taken and all proceeds will go to the Kindersley and District Music Festival Association.

Next Sunday, the Community Choir will share their musical talent with their annual Christmas concert at Clearview Community Church beginning at 2:30 p.m.

The choir is once again led by director Clayton Braybrook, with Laura Hewson playing the piano.

What a great way to begin the Christmas season.
