Firefighters honoured with service awards

 

Deputy Mayor Shaun Henry (left) and Bernie Morton (right), the town’s chief administrative officer, present service awards to three of the longest serving firefighters in Kindersley. Chief Ron Hope (second from left) of the Kindersley Fire & Rescue Brigade, received a service medallion for 35 years, Deputy Chief Rod Stevens (centre) received a service medal for 30 years and Senior Captain David Burke received a medal for 40 years of service. The three firefighters were recognized at a council meeting on May 14.
