Local volunteers recognized

Local volunteers show off the special wooden crates and glasses they received from Molson Coors Canada as part of the company’s volunteer recognition program in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday. The Taste of Who We Are program has been honouring volunteers in communities across Canada and recipients have received red Molson Canadian beer fridges and wooden crates as part of the promotion. In the photo, three of the four local recipients show off their crates. The volunteers received their awards on Sept. 11 during a council meeting. Left to right: Cheryl Glass, Roxanne Atkinson, Mayor Rod Perkins, Shaun Henry and Jessica Maddocks, a sales merchandiser for Molson Coors Canada. Missing from the photo is recipient Judy Lavoie
