The Kindersley Raiders and Stallions, last year’s Fertile Valley Baseball League finalists, are tied for second place in the league after play on Monday night.

The Stallions beat up on the visiting Elrose Aces, 7-3 Monday to improve their record to 4-1.

The Raiders, meanwhile, shut out the visiting Kyle Yellow Jackets 12-0 Saturday in their latest game, to improve their record to 4-0.

The Raiders were scheduled to play last night against the Klippers, who won their first game of the season, Saturday, 11-7 over the visiting Kyle Yellow Jackets in the first game of a double header for Kyle.

Also in action last night, the Kindersley Royals were on the road to Beechy to play the Breakers.

The Royals, who have a 2-4 record so far this season, lost their latest game, a 13-3 decision in Rosetown against the Angels, Sunday afternoon.

The Kindersley Cubs, meanwhile, sit in the middle of the pack with a 3-3 overall record. They lost their latest game Monday to the league-leading Oyen Eagles, 11-6.

The Eagles are undefeated with a 5-0 record. They were scheduled to play in Rosetown last night (Tuesday) to try and keep their unbeaten streak alive.

Games coming up: Wednesday: Eatonia in Kindersley vs the Stallions and the Klippers will take on the Cubs. Thursday: Outlook will be in Beechy; The Royals will visit the Aces and the Stallions will take on the Raiders.

Sunday, the Royals will head to Kyle and Monday, the Outlook River Hawks will be in town to take on the Royals.

Tuesday, the Angels will be in Kindersley to take on the Klippers and the Cubs are scheduled to be in Kyle.
