The KCS 2 team, made up of Grade 10 and 11 girls, also did well, defeating Rosetown 51-35 and Onion Lake 49-31, before losing to Herbert 45-32. This put them in second place in their pool and they advanced to the third-place game.

There they lost 38-33 to Eatonia to finish in fourth place.

The girls will host conferences March 9 and 10 with teams coming from Outlook, Caronport, Assiniboia, Maple Creek and Rosetown.
