The KCS Kobras’ regular season ended Friday in the rain against the visiting North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders.

The afternoon high school football game was played in terrible conditions, as the rain and cold temperatures settled in, leaving the field in a muddy and slippery mess.

Both teams had trouble with a slick ball, resulting in numerous dropped passes and fumbles. Offence was hard to come by, and the result was a low scoring game. Each team traded touchdowns and a safety decided the outcome in the 8-6 victory for the visiting team.

The Kobras finish the season with a 2-4 record, both victories were night games played under the lights, at home and on the road in Rosetown.

With the regular season now in the books, the playoff are upon us. The Kobras will host Martensville this Saturday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m.

The Kobras will be looking to avenge their regular season loss against Martensville.

The weather looks to provide a nice weekend for football, with +12 temps.

Lets pack the field with fans, as the Kobras look to make a run in the playoffs
