Peewee Royals provincial silver medalists

 

The Kindersley Peewee Royals receive silver medals at the provincial baseball championships after a hard-fought 8-6 final game loss to Kipling. The Peewee’s had a great weekend in Moosomin.

The Kindersley Peewee Royals had a very successful provincial baseball tournament weekend held in Moosomin on July 27-29.

They were able to go undefeated in round robin play, with victories over the Sask Five Giants 19-10, Kipling Royals 12-11, White Butte Broncos 12-2, and Saskatoon Braves 4-1.

This qualified the Royals for the semifinals, where they faced the hometown Moosomin Rangers.

With a complete team effort, the Royals came out on top 11-1, setting them up for a chance to repeat as provincial champions.

The final game pitted the Royals against Kipling, where they came up on the short end of a very exciting game 8-6.
